The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will be
accepting applications June 2-12 for quota permits to hunt on
wildlife management areas (WMAs) next season.
On many WMAs, quota permits are required for hunters wishing
to hunt during the first nine days of the general gun season as
well as for other hunts, including the archery and muzzleloading
gun seasons.
Worksheets are available at MyFWC.com/hunting. They
also will be available from county tax collectors’ offices,
license agents and FWC regional offices beginning May 23.
To apply, take a worksheet to any license agent or tax
collector’s office or apply online at wildlifelicense.com
beginning 10 a.m. (EDT) June 2 through midnight June 12.
Worksheets for recreational use permits are now available at
MyFWC.com/hunting. Recreational use permits are issued on a
first-come, first-served basis beginning 10 a.m. (EDT) June 4.
Also, worksheets will be available June 5 for hunts involving
airboats, track vehicles, quail, youths, families and
mobility-impaired persons. The application period for these
hunts is June 25 – July 9.
