Wayne Durden, 52, of Grand Ridge died Saturday, Dec. 26,
2009 at his residence.
Mr. Durden was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson
County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard B.
Durden; a brother, Carlton Durden.
He is survived by his mother, Nellie B. Durden; brother,
Royce W. Durden and family; sisters: Linda Durden and
family, Jeannette D. Cook and family, Wanda S. Durden and
family, all of Grand Ridge, Joyce D. Snellgrove of Marianna;
and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at
Shady Grove Pentecostal Church with Rev. Roland Rabon
officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with
James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday,
Dec. 28, at his residence in Grand Ridge.
