Julia Moore Jelks

Missionary Julia Moore Jelks, 84, of Rochester, NY,
formerly of Chipley, passed away December 24 in Rochester.
She was a native of Washington County, of the Holiness
faith, and an LPN.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 2,
with Elder Isaac Shackelford and Jr. Bishop W.L. Potter
officiating at Johnsons Temple F.B.C. in Chipley.
Interment will follow in the Southside Cemetery in Chipley
with Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
Survivors include a son and daughter, Gary Jelks (Laura)
and Sheryl Lathrop (Milton) of Rochester, NY; sisters and
brothers-in-law: Berta and Bish. S.J. Williams, Clearetha
and Jimmy Marshall of Chipley, Mary Shackelford of Orlando,
and Sarah Moore of Chipley; four grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
The remains will lie in repose at the church one hour
prior to services. The family will receive friends
from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel.
