Ola Mae White

Mrs. Ola Mae White, lovingly known as “Sister”, of
Roanoke, Virginia and formerly of Chipley, went home to be
with the Lord on Friday, December 18, in the University of
Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. She
was 62 and a member of Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church
in Marianna.
Reposing at Christian Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper
Street, Graceville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 11
a.m. at the Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church in
Marianna with Rev. George Williams officiating. She will be
laid to rest in the Northside Cemetery in Chipley under the
directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.
Ola Mae was employed with West Point Stevens Plant in
Chipley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Sr.,
and Annie Mae Byrd Sharpe, and most recently a sister, Katie
Mae “Boosie” Sharpe-Dixon.
She is survived by her children: Patricia (Colbert)
White-Boyd, Larry (Lynn) White, Casey White, Carla Bella,
Kelly White, Jimmy White, Angel White and Keko White;
siblings: Raymond Sharpe Jr., (Pastor Mary), Shirley
Williams (Glenn), of Greenwood, Joyce Massaline, Alvin
Sharpe, Sr., Eva Roulhac (Qualie Jr.), Rosetta Sheffield
(Kennedy), Angela Sharpe, Annie Peterson; 19 grandchildren;
numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
