James Thomas Brantley

James Thomas Brantley, age 63, of Chipley died Wednesday,
February 3, at his home.
A native of Chipley, he had been a resident here since
1980, coming from New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Brantley
was a retired nuclear engineer for the Southern Company and
a member of the Chipley Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Brantley of Chipley; two
daughters: Cynthia Georgian Brantley of Seattle, Washington,
and Melissa Caywood and husband Richard of Bountiful,
Washington; one brother, Bruce Brantley of Grandridge; one
sister, Joan Deal of Chipley; two grandchildren: Jeremy
Igace Caywood and Bryan Thomas Caywood.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday,
February 5, at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 6, at
Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel with Bishop John
Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Hard
Labor Cemetery.
