Glenn Edward "Skip" Delph, 48, of Marianna was called home Friday, February 5, after a sudden, brief illness while at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. 

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Skip had lived  in Marianna for most of his life.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bascom, and was a sales associate with Marianna Toyota.  Skip loved the Lord and his family with all his heart . Skip never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Tackett Shell.

Survivors include his wife, Spring Chance Delph of Marianna; one son, Eric Bryan DeLoach and wife Felicia; one step-son, Sean Ray Jackson, all of Marianna; one daughter, Christy Lynn Delph of Sneads; his father, Carl Edward Delph; two brothers: Christopher Dean Stokes of Round Lake and Denver Lee Delph of Marianna; one granddaughter, Lauren Evelyn DeLoach; two step-grandchildren, Lawson Ray Jackson and Caden Blake Jackson; special niece, Kayleigh Chance; special mother-in-law, Phyllis Chance; one brother-in-law, Zackary Chance; three other nieces and two nephews; and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 7, at Bascom First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating.  Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, February 6, at Maddox Chapel. Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Bascom Building fund, P. O. Box 97, Bascom, FL. 32423.
