William Luke "W.L." Comander, age 88, of Ponce de Leon
passed away January 21 at his home.
He was born August 19, 1921 in St. Andrews to the late
John Thomas and Noma Sapp Comander.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Comander was preceded in
death by his wife, Ruth Russell Comander; a daughter, Sandra
Langford Reeves; a brother, Mercer Comander; and a sister,
Marie Comander.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Langford of Ponce de
Leon; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Langford of Ponce de Leon;
five grandchildren: Lynn Langford, Lesley Langford, Luke
Langford, Candace Petty, and Kim Fenn; eight great
grandchildren: Lyle, Landon, Mason, Carson, Steven, Sandra,
Andrew, and Karoline.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday,
January 23, at Campground Church Cemetery with Luke Langford
speaking. Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay is directing.
