Samuel Homer Corbin

Samuel Homer Corbin, age 67, of Cottondale died Monday,
January 11, in the Washington County Health and
Rehabilitation Center.
A native and lifelong resident of Washington County, he
was a retired construction worker and was of the Holiness
faith.
He was predeceased by his parents, Moad and Frankie
Corbin; a sister, Odean Gamble; and a brother, W. . Corbin.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Corbin of Cottondale;
one son, Ricky Corbin of Cottondale; three daughters:
Patricia Adams of Cottondale, Charlene Rice and husband John
of Cottondale, Vicky Vaughn and husband Tom of Cottondale;
four brothers: Travis Corbin and wife Rhonda of Cottondale,
Lindsey Corbin and wife Luetta of Chipley, Charles Randolph
Corbin and wife Cynthia of Cottondale; a sister-in-law, Ira
Bell Corbin of Cottondale; one step-son, Christopher Walley
of Cottondale; two step-daughters: Ashleigh Walley of
Cottondale and Kimberly Kent of Wyoming; 10 grandchildren;
and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, Brickyard Road. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday, January 13, at 10 a.m. in
the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Chapel, with the
Rev. Robert Simmons and Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating.
Interment will follow in Sapp Church Cemetery.
