Benjamin Roy Grace

Benjamin Roy Grace, 95, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed
from this life to Heaven on January 28, there to join his
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and many loved ones gone on
before him.
He was born in Georgia where he taught school, worked as
a civil servant for the Air Force and served as minister of
music at Morningside Baptist in Savannah, Georgia, and Log
Cabin Baptist in Macon, Georgia. He and his wife Clara
Underwood Grace retired to Graceville in 1976 where he
enjoyed flowers, gardening, family and music. He
served as minister of music at Bethel Baptist and Mt.
Calvary before joining 1st Baptist Graceville where he loved
singing in the choir and his Sunday school class.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday,
February 1, at Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Bart Brookins
officiating and James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville
directing.
He was predeceased by his wives Clara Underwood Grace and
Kate Griffin (Hinson) Grace.
His loving survivors are his son, daughter-in-law, four
grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
