Chuck Michael Kriser, age 72, of Chipley died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at his home. 

A native of Lansing, Michigan, he had been a resident here for the past 25 years, coming from Ocala.  He was owner of Kriser Auto in Chipley and a member of the Chipley Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clair V. and Dorothy Mullen Kriser; and a daughter, Janine Kriser McKinney. 

Survivors include his wife, Judy Kriser of Chipley; three sons: Michael Scott Kriser and wife Stephanie of Chipley, Samuel Kriser and wife Dorcas of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Clair Kriser and wife Cindy of Chipley; two daughters: Kathy Stewart and husband Charles of Chipley, and Karmen Sellers and husband Jeff of Marianna; a son-in-law, Richard McKinney of Ocala; five brothers: Ben Kriser of Bonifay, Hal Kriser of Silver Springs, John Kriser of Mesa, Arizona, Phillip Kriser of California, and Mark Kriser of Chipley; three sisters: Ann Hunt of Ocala, Kay Clark of Morriston, and Joan White of Gilbert, Arizona; 24 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel, with Bishop Charles Munns officiating.  Interment will follow in Sims Cemetery.
