Nesby Malloy, 92, of Chipley went home to be with the
Lord on January 20.
She was born on March 10, 1917 in Chipley to Dow and
Beanie Duncan. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist
Church and also a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband,
Marshal Wesley Malloy; and son, Darnell Malloy.
Survivors include two sons: Eyman Malloy and wife
Margaret of Chipley and Lynton Malloy and wife Pat of
Defuniak Springs; five grandchildren: Wesley and wife
Lajuana Malloy of Chipley, Sam and wife Christy Malloy of
Chipley, Greg and wife Donna Malloy of Defuniak Springs,
Deidra and husband Ronald Pettis of Chipley, and Meredith
and husband David Egbert of Alberta, Alabama; 11 great
grandchildren: Eli, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Ethan, Chelsea,
Alexis, Brian, Dalton, Payton, Taylor and Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Shiloh
Baptist Church with Rev. Robin Jumper and Rev. Phillip
Gainer officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh
Cemetery with
Obert Funeral Home of Chipley in charge of arrangements.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday,
January 21, at Shiloh Baptist Church. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 4440
Lafayette Street Suite C, Marianna, FL 32446.
