Harold Dwight Sober

Harold Dwight Sober, age 85, of Chipley, died Monday,
January 4, 2010 at his home.
A native of Leechburg, Pa., he had been a resident of
Chipley since 1992, coming from Pennsylvania. Mr. Sober was
a retired steel worker, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a
member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and a member of the
Chipley First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Sober.
Survivors include one son, Dan Sober and wife Cheryl of
Chipley; one daughter, Donna Pollick and husband Ronald of
Ford City, Pa.; one brother, Paul Sober of Leechburg, Pa.;
one sister, Dorothy Sober of Leechburg, Pa.; six
grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home,
Main Street Chapel, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral
services will be held Thursday, January 7, at 10 a.m. at the
graveside in Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama.
