Jane Welsch Swindle, age 87, passed away January 4, 2010
at her residence in Bonifay.
She was born February 8, 1922 in Mobile, Alabama.
She was a retired educator with Holmes County School Board,
a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church Bonifay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Clarence
Swindle, Jr.; her parents, Harry H. and Forrest Azelle
Malone Welsch; and one grandson, Jesse Alon Colletti.
She was survived by two sons: Jesse Clarence "Jake"
Swindle III, and Dr. Jefferson W. "Jeff" Swindle and his
wife Eileen; one daughter, Jenny Colletti and husband Dan,
all of Bonifay; six grandchildren: Molly, Sarah, Brennis,
Jordan, Jacob and John; and four great grandchildren: Clara
Jane, Sloan, Harper Kate and Audrey.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 8, at 10 a.m.
at First Baptist Church Bonifay with interment in the
Bonifay City Cemetery, and the Reverends Jeep Sullivan and
Shelly Chandler officiating and Peel Funeral Home directing.
