Inez Mildred Toole

Inez Mildred Toole, 95, of Graceville went to her heavenly home Tuesday, January 19, following an extended illness. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Whiddon and Rev. Dan Rhodes officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Those wishing to can make memorial donations to Springhill Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or to Covenant Hospice of Marianna,4440 Lafayette Street Suite C, Marianna, Florida 32446.

Inez was born in Bethlehem on March 4, 1914 to the late Monroe and Lena Williams Paul. She married Brown Toole and moved to Graceville where she spent many years as a homemaker and also worked in the school lunchroom.  In later years, she became a sitter for families who needed care for their loved ones.  She was a long time member of Springhill Methodist Church, and those who knew her remember her as an excellent cook and friend.  Her family will cherish those years she dedicated to being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She led a life committed to her family and to God. 

She is survived by a granddaughter, Kim Carmichael Barrett of Chipley and husband Rusty Barrett; one great grandchild, Connor Barrett of Chipley whom she loved and adored; one sister, Opal Goodwin of Bethlehem; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brown Toole; a daughter, Carolyn Toole Carmichael; and by two sisters and three brothers.  

The family would like to thank North Florida Community Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit and Covenant Hospice of Marianna for their wonderful care.
