Annie Ruth Walker, 72, of Lynn Haven passed away Sunday,
January 17, at her residence following an extended illness,
with her family there to comfort her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January
22, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev.
Jim Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in
Brown-Bush-Tindel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home
of Graceville directing. Family will receive friends
at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. until time for
the service. Flowers will be accepted or those wishing
to may make memorials to the Brown-Bush-Tindel Cemetery
Fund, c/o Donna Tate, 1088 Hwy. 173, Graceville, FL 32440.
Ruth was born in Panama City on November 29, 1937 to the
late Farris and Lessie Jordan Jacobs.
To those of us who were touched by the life and love of
Annie Ruth Walker, words cannot express our loss. Her
home was always open with a warm and caring atmosphere.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great
grandmother whose spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years,
Charles T. Walker; four daughters: Shelia Walker of Lynn
Haven, Thressa Allen of Fountain, Cindy Scruggs of Lynn
Haven, Debbie Burnette of Atlanta, Georgia; her siblings:
Grady Payne, Billy Joe Payne, Johnny Payne, Raymond Payne,
David Payne, Helen York, Barbara McCormick and Mary Alice
Infinger; as well as nine grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jimmy Jacobs
and Sonny Jacobs.
