Vera Susan Yucus

Vera Susan Yucus, 101, of Chipley went home to be with
the Lord on January 16 at Northwest Florida Community
Hospital in Chipley.
She was born on July 10, 1908 in Lynn, Massachusetts.
She had been a resident of Sunny Hills for the past 40
years, coming from Chicago. She was a member of St.
Theresa Catholic Church and also a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha L. Vroma of Sunny
Hills; grandchildren: Calvin Hunter of Richmond, Virginia,
and Cecilia Harrison of Sunny Hills.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
January 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chipley with
Father Sean Knox officiating. Burial will follow in
Calvary Cemetery with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley
directing.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday,
January 19, at
Obert Funeral Home.
